Have fun using DanceLady Dinosaur themed activities for kids
Here is a fun Dinosaur themed game that is best played in a hall.
You will need A Dinosaur costume or even a Dinosaur t-shirt.
A paintbrush
A magnifying class
One player is the Dinosaur ( wear the costume ) the Dinosaur runs around at tags/ catches the other players When caught lye on the floor like a fossil
Two other players are the Paleontologist. The Palenitolosts work as a team! If they see a fossil on the floor they firstly have to brush around the shape of the fossil and use the magnifying glass around the fossil. Once they have done this the fossil (child ) can stand up and run around again !!, but try and not be caught by the Dinosaur again.!Change the players over at regular intervals. So everyone gets a chance to be a Dinosaur or a Palenontologist

Dinosaur Moves!
Moving around the room call out the following words. Each word has a different pre-learned action, the children have to perform the action before they can continue to move around.
CRAWLING. Hit the ground and crawl on all 4s forward keeping as low to the ground as possible to prevent being seen by Dinosaurs!
BINOCULARS. Stand really still! Using your hands up to your eyes like a pair of binoculars make a sweeping action as if viewing from Left to Right.
DINOSAURS COMING! Run around ..run for your lives!
LEAPS .Using large steps. leap across the room as if trying to miss the huge dinosaur footprints
HIDE IN2s one stand behind the other person, as if hiding from a predator
Get the children to create their own Dinosaur inspired activities
Using the Dinosaur Character from the Jurassic World Film, each Dinosaur has its own movement quality
Velociraptor. A fast swift feathered animal…Movement. Extend the arms out like wings. Make 2 footed jumps right and left whilst flapping arms
Mosasaurus . a swimming type Dinosaur. Movement. aLye down on tummy and make swimming type actions.
Petrosaurus. similar in looks to a winged lizard and could fly. Moving around the room on hands and feet. with sudden jumps to recreate flying
Tyrannosaurus REX . Avery large muscular creature with extremely small upper limbs and enormously powerful back limbs. Allowing them to stand upright and move quickly. Move around the room Standing tall, moving swiftly and with powerful action.
Using books and other resources get the children to create their own movements for other Dinosaurs
